As an avid 50 cent fan since 1999/2000.....I'm sorry to say that I was somewhat displeased with his new movie, Get Rich or Die Tryin'....it could've been much better.

Though 50 did a pretty good job acting and the movie had some amazing scenes, the story didn't have much focus or direction. In addition, considering the fact that I'm a stickler for details....when the characters in the film wore Rocawear and Triple Five Soul clothing during the 80s and early 9os....I was a bit disappointed.

But, maybe the anti-50 protestors were justified in their belief Get Rich would spur violence.

Historically, African-Americans have been marginalized and oppressed by discrimanatory legislation. You'd think that they would be opposed to similar legislation against other groups.....
